Inspired and informed by research from the National Literacy Trust that suggests children who write regularly feel happier and more creative. My First Smythson, aimed at children aged 8–11 years, seeks to inspire a new generation of story-makers by encouraging positive associations with writing from a young age, while creating an opportunity for children to experience endless moments of joy.
